Katerina Marcelja (b. 1971) is a visual artist who specializes in sculpture and printmaking. Marcelja was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and grew up in Rome, Italy. She studied sculpture at Boston University with Carol Keller and Performance Studies at NYU. Her performance work “Arteria” was shown at Mladinsko Theater in Ljubljana. Her recent exhibitions include “Fragmet Series” at Open Source Gallery and “Wet Wings and Wooden Sail” for the Dumbo Arts Festival, Giacobetty Paul Gallery, 2012.
